That is why Six 2 tries to kill him (when it is boss fight), and when he broke her music box she felt alot of pain and was turned back to normal, since six 2 was left behid and felt pain, she thought mono had left her and came back to kill her. Then six 1 grows older while mono is also growing to the thin man. She betrayed him because she thought he was thin man 1( thin man 1 didn't save her, because he saved another six not six 2) and she was left behid and dropping him was her revenge for not coming for her. Six 2 wasn't saved by thin man 1 instead was saved by mono. Then mono goes in the tower and instead of Six 1 he saves Six 2. Then he gets betrayed and grows into thin man. Then another thin man aka thin man 2 takes Six number 2 away (for revenge), thin man 1 does the same thing goes into the tower and 'saves ' the Six he thinks is Six 2.
What i mean is the thin man, was a child (aka mono), thin man 1 helps Six 2, saves her from bullies, helps her from funiture. So instead of going to the Six he helped he 'saved' the Six the thin man helped. I don't think she would grow so fast into a monster). The door that closes when Mono goes into the tower was where Six 1 was at, she was playing her music box(because Six. Explaining time: Mono had saved Six number 2 instead of 1. ( i just call them 1 and 2 so that it is easy). When he finds monster Six, aka Six number 2. i'll explain later) since the door closes he has to find another way to six. That might be where Six number 1 is( six number 1 is the Six we played with. So when mono goes into the tower he hears Six's music box and the sound was coming from a door but, it closes. The website of little nightmares 2 says that 'six is fadding from the world and her only hope is helping mono' maybe she was really using him all this time. (Maybe because of the tower or something else we don't know about) so finds Six who seems to know the thin man. It really looks like time is messed up in there. But i might have i theory why six betrayed mono. Maybe her fear is losing her music box? I really don't know. (Maybe, thats why he keeps coming back for her, or maybe he cares for her) going back. When mono breaks Six's music box he finds hinself alone in a dark room breaks a door and finds Six again. The tower is still very little known about. Maybe Six was malupulated by someone like shadow six to think mono is tge bad guy. So now, the former Mono, probably is just a shell, a slave that just works for the Tower, and the Tower probably saw new victims (Mono and Six) and let Thin Man out in this timeline for them to be captured, because we know that Thin Man/Mono himself can’t transcend time, so it must’ve been the Tower It may have known of its powers, and that’s why it possibly didn’t physically alter him like others so it will serve him. Decades in the Tower warped and corrupted his mind, possibly controlling him to bring children to him, because probably the Tower already “fed” or something on the Viewers, so it needs more, and the children were untouched and unaffected by it, so it warped and corrupted Six for a while, but corrupted Mono for much longer.
And I think that he just treats Mono and Six as another children that need to be kidnapped and brought to the Tower, like he did before, and like we see in the comics. Thin Man can’t stretch people's limbs and make extra bends. Did you even see the Viewers, that just by looking at the TVs they got so messed up? So if someone is in the center of this power, he’ll get really messed up. Its a really sad, but amazing story, and as sad as it is, it is so great at doing its job, and I wouldn't want it to change. Six is too scared to see Mono grow up to become the Thin Man, so she tries to kill him, unknowingly creating the Thin Man. Mono blames Six for his betrayal, so he tries to trap Six forever. The tower has already destroyed time itself, as evident by everything around you coming from a different time era, so this whole idea doesn't seem too far fetched.
I believe that there is no actual beginning to the time loop but rather that the tower knows that if the two worked together, they would destroy it, so in response it created the time loop so they blame each other for their mishaps. They don't realise that the signal tower has ruined their friendship. They both blame each other for the terrible things that happen in their lives, both trying to stop each other before doing what they know the other will do.
Obviously, everybody points fingers at when Six drops Mono, but what about when the Thin Man (Mono) takes Six away? I dont actually think that either one is actually evil, but if you would consider even one of them, you would have to consider the other. I believe that Mono and Six are equally evil and innocent.
